Floating Candles Display Ideas

Floating Candles are an easy and low-cost way of adding a captivating look and feel to your garden, home, or that special event such as a Wedding. Our scented floating flower candles are perfect for illuminating the night, and creating a magical and
distinctive feel to any event.

Floating Candles as Wedding Centrepieces:
Floating candles are becoming increasingly popular for weddings and look stunningly beautiful on bridal tables and gift tables. Make sure you have enough glass containers to fill each table, if they are tall vases you may want to put 2 or 3 on the table and if you can vary the heights all the better. Glass containers can easily be found online or at local craft, gift, or department stores.

By adding silk or imitation flowers submerged in the water with floating candles floating on top you will be able to create a truly amazing candle centrepiece. Why not try adding a tint of colour to the water with some food colouring. You could also decorate the container with ribbon, glitter, roses, or beads making sure to keep the colours within the theme of the wedding. Petals scattered across the table from the same flowers as in your centrepiece will help create a truly romantic look.

Floating Candles in an outdoor Swimming Pool or water feature:

For outdoor events out of the summer season, your pool may be too cold for swimming (if its not heated that is), but it will look truly stunning decorated with floating candles and will create a lovely backdrop to your party.

The same effect with floating candles can be created in a pond or lake but please be environmentally aware, and watch out for the wildlife!

Caution: Be sure to turn off any pumps, filters, fountains, etc. The candles will go out under any water features and you don’t want the candle to clog any pumps or filters.

Floating Candles as a Table Centrepiece:
Floating candles can make the perfect table centrepiece and are extremely easy to put together. Place them in a clear glass bowl or vase for a beautiful eye catching effect. You can add stones, crystals, or shells, to your centrepiece to enhance the effect. By keeping the candles floating in the water looks beautiful as well. If you place your glass floating candle centrepiece on a mirror it will also add to the visual appeal. Our scented floating flower candles typically last up to 4 to 5 hours when burning outside with no wind, and slightly longer inside.

These are but a few of the ways to create amazing effects with floating candles, but hopefully we have given you some inspiration to get started.
